HOW TO START YOUR HEALTH AND FITNESS JOURNEY
hi guys with everything that has gone on
this year i decided to set myself a six
week reset challenge to focus and
prioritize my health and fitness
i'll be documenting everything so i
encourage you to join in with me and
focus on yourself and your goals for the
next six weeks i hope you enjoy and
let's get fit and healthy together

oh my god i am so excited to be filming
this little youtube series for you guys
and i'm just so
ready to reset my health and fitness
journey
so my six week challenge actually starts
tomorrow and the whole reason i was
inspired
to focus and prioritize myself my health
and fitness and my goals over the next
six weeks
is because my gym that i go to we're
actually hosting
hosting doing i did put together a six
week challenge for all members and i
honestly was like this is so perfect
because i can actually have some
guidance on
how i can reach my goals with my health
and my fitness and for those who
don't have access to a gym challenge you
guys can kind of
get inspired and join me and so many
others
in the next six weeks on becoming a
better version of yourself
when you're starting out your health and
fitness journey or whenever you feel
like you just need to kick-start your
current one
do not underestimate the power of
getting clear and setting
goals if you don't know what you're
actually working towards it is so hard
to
keep motivated and keep inspiring
yourself to get up every morning and to
train and to eat healthy so
whenever i do feel like i'm lacking
motivation i just come back to my
why your why and your goals don't have
to be anything crazy it definitely can
be if you
want it to be but mine is simply just to
feel my best inside and out because i
know
when i'm training i'm eating healthy i'm
waking up early
i feel my best right now i want you guys
to grab your journal
your notes on your phone or a notebook
of some sort and just write down these
four questions
and ask yourself these answer them just
so you guys can get
clear so ask yourself what is my why
what are my
top three goals what does my training
schedule look like and what does a week
of eating look like so
create a little action plan for yourself
in terms of like how you would like to
eat every week
and what does your training schedule
look like create a little split for
yourself
something that i want to do before my
challenge starts tomorrow is just kind
of
meal plan for the week and also just
find new exciting
recipes i love looking on pinterest i
love watching like what i in a days on
youtube i also have a cookbook from
elsa's wholesome life which is like my
go-to for recipes
it is so amazing and the recipes in
there are just so
good yummy and healthy which is awesome
what i'm going to do now is i'm just
going to do some
research on recipes that i want to eat
throughout my
challenge and just put together a little
meal guide
of monday all the way through to like
friday or sunday and just do like
breakfast lunch and dinner
not gonna lie i probably will just have
smoothies every single morning like
change it up every single day i love
smoothies they're so delicious
and just a really great way to get in
your macros super quickly as well
because it takes so quick to make a
smoothie like they're the most easiest
breakfast idea ever for lunch i'll
probably have some kind of
like buddha bowl salad a big bulk salad
dough like like roast veggies
protein everything like that for dinner
i usually have
heaps of fun with it i am always having
like nachos burgers
pizza vegan mac and cheese i just have
so much fun with it but it can be a
little bit time consuming so
i just really want to look for simple
time efficient
recipes that are super healthy vegan
delicious
all that good stuff anyway guys i will
see you
tomorrow morning on day one of the
challenge i am
so excited see you guys there you will
see
my workout split what i eat in a week
and everything like that so stay tuned

body could go so much harder what would
your biggest advice be
[Music]

this week my focus at the gym is my
range of movement and focusing on
technique and form over the weight that
i'm actually lifting so making sure i'm
getting a full range of movement each
exercise
so that in a few weeks i can lift heavy
whilst remaining good
technique and usually my gym's weight
class consists of three circuits with
around two to three exercises in each
and we mix it up with weights resistance
and sometimes also
body weight exercises like these
push-ups here but every single weight
training class
is and looks a little bit different in
terms of the exercises that we are doing
but it was such a good class and i'm
super sweaty
happy monday guys first workout of the
six week challenge
done and dusted really started off my
monday
quite the well you guys will see
throughout the week
my styles of training and just my
workout routine
really does change and includes a lot of
variety just in terms of the styles of
training i do
and also the exercises i do etc i just
like that's what my body thrives best of
not only physically the more variety of
styles of training you incorporate into
your workout routine the different
muscles you work
and it just physique wise really really
great but also just like
mentally i stick to my workout routine
and i look forward to it because if i do
the same thing over and over again i
am bored and i'm like get me out of here
i did this yesterday
i like a mix of both and you guys will
see that throughout the week
when i show you guys my week of workouts
but i gotta go home now i am hungry it's
time for breakfast
and i usually eat yeah after my workout
just because
that's the time i eat breakfast for
breakfast this morning i've just made
myself a choco protein
smoothie i love adding protein powders
to my smoothies just because it's a
really easy way to get in protein
without having to think about it
so i'm gonna go enjoy this this is
breakfast for today
super simple it took me about 30 seconds
for everything in the blender and
blended all
up but it tastes delicious and if you're
someone that doesn't have a lot of time
in the morning
smoothies are really really good just to
actually have breakfast

i spent the whole day at my desk so i
decided to get outside and
go for a walk i love doing this to just
de-stress my mind
get outside before the end of the day
what would your biggest advice be for
someone who's wanting to start their
health and fitness journey
um i think surrounding yourself with
like-minded people
so guys for dinner tonight i am making
rice paper rolls i feel like this is
such a
fun and healthy dinner idea and it's not
it doesn't take long to make it all like
it's really really simple
so you've just put your rice paper sheet
in some
warm water put it down on your plate
just add all my veggies
we also made a homemade satay
sauce which has peanut butter hoisin
sauce
and lime juice coconut sugar i like to
add some crushed peanuts as well just
for a little bit of
crunch coconut aminos which is like a
kind of a soy sauce um
alternative
[Laughter]
started the day by writing a to-do list
and this morning's smoothie
is just banana oat milk so much powder
and also
some protein powder
oh my god guys i actually feel so like
sweaty and icky after that class i'm
just like sitting in my car trying to
like
calm down before i drive off but that
was such a good class i usually hate
cardio classes not gonna lie like i
usually do prefer weights just cause
like it is a little bit easier on the
body
but [ __ ] that was a good class i really
did push myself as well which i'm really
proud of sometimes i feel like i can
just cruise through the movements and
not actually push myself but
the whole 45 minutes i was just like pep
talking myself being like
you could do this you have 30 seconds
left go go go and sometimes you just
need to be your own
cheerleader and just like pep talk
yourself during your workouts and it
honestly helps so much like
be your own cheerleader in your mind
while you're working out it honestly
gets you through it and it's like
it's kind of like you have someone with
you but it's just a better version of
yourself pushing you
so there's something that i do pretty
much every single class i just have to
like
keep reminding myself like you've got
this because sometimes it's like it's
mind of a matter honestly like your body
could go
so much harder and your body is capable
of literally
anything and everything but it's just
your mind that stops you
after my shower i do like to apply my
hideaway body cluster so this is
probably my favorite in terms of like
smell but this one is actually a
magnesium body custard so it has
benefits of obviously magnesium so it's
really good for like your muscles and
stuff so after a workout i do like to
use this one
but this is probably like my most used
like i actually have none
left i need a new one asap because i
like numb it's so sad um but today i'm
gonna use this one anyway because i did
have a pretty
big gym sesh and i feel like i'm gonna
be sore tomorrow and magnesium just have
really good
benefits for you and your muscles

for dinner tonight i made some vegan
tacos so i started off with some
onion and added some vegan mints i don't
have this too often as i do try and
stick to more whole foods
keyword try but like this is so
delicious and it's really easy to make
i added some mushrooms as well and all
my seasonings like salt pepper
taco seasoning and of course some salsa
so this makes a delicious
fun healthy dinner okay my tacos look a
little bit funny but i'm so excited to
eat these i just popped in them
the mint some guac some vegan cheese and
also some slaw
but i'm so excited to eat these for
dinner
so guys for me my healthy lifestyle is
so much more than just what i'm putting
into my body and how i'm working out
yes that is such an important part of my
healthy lifestyle but it's also about
creating and implementing healthy habits
throughout my day
so some healthy habits that i like to do
every single day especially in
the morning your morning time and your
morning routine is what sets your day up
for success if you have a
strong morning routine you will have a
strong powerful day
when the morning when the day is a very
famous quote and it is so
true so every morning i like to make my
bed i also like to meditate
and journal these three healthy habits
just set my day off
on such a positive and inspiring
tone and i also feel like just doing
three habits within
15 minutes of you waking up is just
three small wins for the day
and it just makes you feel so good and
makes you want to be more productive
because you've already
done three small things for the day it
just inspires you to keep going and keep
ticking off your to-do list throughout
the day so those three habits i swear by
but of course because this is a six week
challenge i do want to start
implementing a few
new habits within my routine and just
throughout the day so the first one is
just drinking more water
i want to aim for one to two liters of
water another habit that i really want
to implement is not checking my phone
first thing
when i wake up and also not being on my
phone
like 30 minutes before bed i just feel
like it interrupts my sleep
and last night i actually wasn't on my
phone 30 minutes before sleeping i had
the best sleep and i woke up before my
alarm and i was like
look at me go i feel on top of the world
so
i really want to start implementing
those three new habits within the next
six weeks and hopefully they'll just
become second nature to me if you guys

so guys first week of the six week
challenge is
done and something that i like to do
every single week is i like to
kind of reflect on the week that just
was and because this is a
challenge i honestly feel like
reflecting after each week
seeing what you did well seeing what you
can work on is
so important for growth and progress and
reaching your goals
for me what went well this week was my
consistency with my training and just
my actual workout in general like i feel
like
i was getting in the swing of just like
going to the gym and getting out and not
actually being present in the movement
and
getting a good workout in so i'm really
proud and happy with the workouts that i
did this week i was just really enjoying
them
also this was my first like weekly vlog
type video so i feel like i'm just not
in the swing of like
weekly vlogging and i did feel like
ugliness was a little bit
all over the place so hopefully next
week will be a little bit better for you
guys but i hope you guys still enjoyed
this video anyway even if it was a
little bit
